AION 2 Release Date: Global PC Launch Facts
AION 2's global PC release date of October 5, 2026, plus the dated post-launch timeline — outages, known issues, restrictions, December mount windows.
AION 2's global PC release date was October 5, 2026, published on the Steam listing and confirmed by the store API — Windows is the only platform, with NC as developer and publisher and Steam as the distribution point alongside NC's own platform. Every date on this page carries its source, because the two weeks after launch already produced a timeline worth keeping: an outage compensation, a known-issues list, a transfer service, and a policy enforcement action.

Upcoming dated windows
Two future dates were already official at launch: accounts created by December 2, 2026, 3:30 PM JST qualify for the launch celebration, and the two reward mounts must be claimed by December 9, 2026, 3:30 PM JST — once per account per region, delivered via in-game mail. The timers page keeps those windows with their verification status, because after December 9 they become historical dates rather than deadlines.
FAQ
I started playing after October 5 — did I miss anything by not being there at launch?
The dated record shows no limited content that expired before October 12, 2026; the launch celebration remains open to accounts created by December 2, 2026. The earliest days did include service friction — a European outage with compensation on October 8 and a known-issues list on October 9 — which new players simply skipped.
Is AION 2 available on consoles or Mac?
No — the store API lists Windows as the only platform for the global version, verified October 12, 2026. Any console or Mac availability would require an official announcement, and none exists in captured sources.
Was there an early access or head start before October 5, 2026?
No early-access or head-start phase appears in the official sources captured for the global release. If NC ever documents one retroactively, the timeline above gets a dated entry — until then the launch date stands as published.
